One of the world’s leading software developers will be located in the Ingria technopark

The Ingria Technopark and the American IT Company, DataArt signed an agreement of intend, as a result of which DataArt plans to place a development center in Saint Petersburg in 2013.

Plans call for the construction of the first facilities in the Nevsky district of Saint Petersburg, opposite the "Ul. Dybenko" metro station to begin in 2012, and for the project to be completed in 2013. After these facilities come online, DataArt is prepared to consider the possibility of placing an office at the technopark facility, if its infrastructure will satisfy the company’s needs. The Company’s Petersburg development Center, which current occupies more than 1,000 square meters, will be located in the Ingria technopark. The plans call for DataArt to increase its rented space in the Technopark.

The Ingria Technopark is being created as part of the federal program for the development of high technology technoparks, on a 45 hectare site in the Nevsky district of Saint Petersburg, across from the "Ul. Dybenko" metro station. The volume of investment in the project amounts to 30 billion rubles, 66% of which consist of private funds, and 34% of investments from federal and regional budgets. The construction of the first stage of the Technopark, an administrative building and two business incubator buildings with an instruction center will begin in 2012. The Technopark’s first pilot project, the Ingria business incubator, has been operating since 2008. As of the beginning of April, 70 residents have operated in the business incubator. In the summer of 2011, as part of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Microsoft company signed a cooperation agreement with the government of Saint Petersburg, in accordance with which the corporation will open its own technological center in the Ingria technopark.
